Are you seeking a small breed dog that will keep a smile plastered across your face forever more? You just found it. Always ready to entertain, the Biewer doodle is truly a clown in disguise. He will turn even the gloomiest frown upside down and light up the room with his funny little antics. A hybrid mix of a Biewer Yorkshire Terrier and a Miniature Poodle, the Biewer doodle is a lively fellow. He’ll play ball in the yard with the kids and then relax on his owner’s lap for a good nap and some attention. This tiny little pup has one big heart.
Biewer doodles (also known as a Yorkie poo) don’t need a lot of exercise and are suitable for families both living in the big city or homesteading out in the country. These are adaptable little dogs who would do well in a variety of environments. Their low-maintenance activity needs and a sweet personality make them a favourite with many pet owners. They do well with everyone, luckily- from singles to retirees to families with kids. It’s hard to imagine anyone who wouldn’t fall hard for a Biewer doodle. There’s a reason why these pups have become so popular. After one look into their eyes, you’ll love your Biewer doodle for life.
Yorkie’s are a Single-Coated breed, and more closely resemble the hair of humans, which can be fine, long, and silky. Just like human hair, it grows continuously, needs to be cared for, and eventually trimmed or shaved.
Dogs with hair are considered “non-shedding“, and while they do shed in small amounts, it’s significantly less than their double-coated cousins.
Now crossing this awesome coat with the curly non-shedding, hypoallergenic coat of the poodle, it will provide a soft wavy to curly fleecy coat giving you that cuteness overload teddy bear look.
No dog is 100% hypoallergenic, as all dogs produce some level of pet dander. Both Yorkie’s and poodles have significantly less pet dander than other breeds, and people with mild allergies may find a Yorki poo is the perfect allergy friendly, hypoallergenic, non-shedding companion. Pet dander can be even further reduced through regular bathing, brushing, and feeding a high quality diet.
